im using win7 64b just wondering if there is a way to feed everything through this interface ie Live 8 and sounds from laptop/win7

im really struggling to make beats with l8
please excuse my terminology as i dont know any, im using impulse.

B) ive got some samples into the pads but as soon as i click on to the midi note editor the pads dissapear so i cant edit the samples,how can i get my pads back?

ive had 8 live now for a couple of years now ive tryed many times to get going with live but im really struggling are there any good basic tutorials out there? ive looked at many but they seem a bit advanced for me so im looking for real basic one a good beatmaking one would be great start

i was just talking to a dealer, who let slip ableton had revised their prices, not sure weather he was trying to make a sale or was it true?? has anybody heard the same??
i know native instruments are discounting/doing deals, is it worth waiting a few weeks befor buying?? looking to get al8 suite.

looking to buy al suite 8, is the academic version the same as the normal version??

been looking for a second hand copy of live suite 8 do they exist??, none on ebay why??
or should i buy new??
