Must have been the template, which is weird because I never set one. But clicking 'Clear' in the file and folder settings fixed it.

Ever since the 9.1 update, when I open live, I get a quasi version of a recent song load up. It's not even the latest project file, and instead of its file name the window pane displays 'Untitled'.

And it's started happening again.

Still only one midi input route for inserts unfortunately (as far as I can tell).

Disappointing to say the least. It's the one of the two features I was waiting for (the other was midi note extraction from audio).

OK back with good news, sort of.

I had 3 instances of Kore2 in that project. I removed ALL of them, (collected all) and saved the project then reopened it.

I can now drop in new instances of Kore2 and work on them.

Unfortunately I'll have to reinstall 32 bit Ableton to reopen a previous version ...

I just tried Live 9 (trial) 64 and the same thing happened.

I have used 32 bit Live 8 until I noticed the other day that there was a 64bit version download.

I downloaded and installed it. Now when I drag an instance of Kore2 to an audio channel (or Kore2 FX to a return channel), Live immediately crashes.

Upon reopening the bug reporter blames Kore2 ...

Getting right into Etch. Craving this feature.

From what I can tell, you can't send audio to fx plugin/insert 3+4, 4+5... etc either. Hopefully this is in Live 9.

For reference, I'm trying to control the Etch envelope with the envelope follower module, which can only be triggered by 1&2 currently ...

Great idea. Now Live just need to come up with a feature that does this in the background, and strings them together seamlessly on playback.

THis is silly. I have many reasons to want to record more than a couple hours audio. (Live gigs, performances). Ableton is great as an affordable live recording mixer with it's non destructivfe automation, sidechaining and general stability.

Can't it just make a new file everytime it gets to 2gb ...

Total clipping and saturation on my main outs.

Have to have 'monitor' on next to nothing otherwise ear destroying gain distortion.

I was using this last night no problems, turned on computer today with zero config changes and now I can't get a clean sound coming out ...

I have Live 7 and am looking to upgrade to Snow Leopard.

I do use Live for gigs though, so am hesitant.

Mine isn't vsti related. Whenever I'm in session view the button is red. I have done a lot of reading and am beginning to think I'm going crazy. Am I right in now thinking the red light should always be on when playing back from session view?

I'm new to mac and always play live from session view ...
