Re: sample rate conversion 48->44.1 .. my kick is more metallic
When I stream it, the tune certainly sounds different in my headset (Sennheiser HD280 Pro) as opposed to how it sounds in my speakers (shitty tv speakers). The initial 4/4 kick sounds fine, but when the kicks start occuring more often and in a less straight-forward rhythm - at around 00:30 and ...

Re: Ableton Live 8 Suite file security
I'll be sure to keep a copy of the Live Library updated from now on.
Lucky I'm not short on extra disks and gigabytes... =)

Ableton Live 8 Suite file security
Ok.
I've spent hours and hours trying to figure out how to get my Live 8 Suite working again after installing Windows 7.
My trials and tribulations
First, there were several packages that couldn't be installed for some sort of awkward reason, such as Latin Percussion. Managed to fix this after ...

Re: Whats your opinion on the Sennheiser HD280 pro headphones?
I have a pair, the only headset I've ever owned where I actually did a bit of research before I bought it.
Can't remember what my findings were now, though...
I've had them for some years - probably something like 4-5. I think they're pretty rugged, I must have thrown them on the floor quite some ...

Re: Please lend me your ears again
Sorry, nothing to add mix-wise.
Just wanted to say that I think that the duck call thing is a bit... Ugly. The timing of the sound is fine rhythm-wise, I just wish it was something more in harmony with the rest of the tune.
Very nice tune! Inspiring. I like how your voice sounds, with the tiny ...

Re: Scrubbing through an audio clip
If i am correct, you want to hear both sides of the where a marker is stamped, and exclusively the marker you have focus on. SO that it doesnt loop over and over.
I'm not 100% sure about what you mean here, but basically, I don't mind the sound looping just around/at where I have the marker ...

Re: Scrubbing through an audio clip
What I'm curious about is whether or not it is possible to have the sound follow the (moving) marker, continually playing what is at the marker.
You say that scrubbing is in sync according to the set quantization - how does your scrubbing act when quantization is set to "None" ? I was hoping that ...

Re: Scrubbing through an audio clip
It's easy enough to get it to loop a recognizable area of the song, by increasing the quantization unit, as you say.
However, the currently playing bit doesn't follow the marker when I move it around. Isn't that what "scrubbing" is? Like what dj's do when they're queueing up a new record ...

Scrubbing through an audio clip
Hello everyone
I think I've never gotten audio scrubbing to work right, or maybe I'm just expecting too much from it.
Does "scrubbing" mean that you get a continuous sound when moving the marker back and forth on the track, and that a very small loop is played when you hold the marker still? Kind ...
