Re: Live 10's GUI
i think is time for Live to get a "Performance Mode" interface option.
something in the lines of MAX, but for the whole Live. We should be able to select the most important devices, tracks, sends, etc, and arrange them in a perfomance friendly fashion, with multitouch support, and Lemur like ...

midi note label to OSC
Hello,
i'm trying to send via OSC a midi note name to a touchOSC label, using a sprintf object, like this:
sprintf /label %s
the problem is, the note number is coming from a max.dial, and i can't seem to find a way to translate the number into note name (string)
help!
thanks

Launchpad chromatic keyboard with scales representation
Hello,
i'm starting a project to make a chromatic keyboard with scales represented by lit leds
i think the best way to use the grid is to include the scene launch buttons, to get a 9 x 8 grid, and divide it in 6 sections of 4 x 3.
It translates in 6 octaves range,
something like this:

Great work!
This device got me to buy a launchpad..
Looking forward for loop length control, and a cool mute slice would be just perfect!
Thank you for sharing your work

Hey!
just sharing two videos documenting two sound installations I did during November while staying at a artistic residency in São Paulo, Brazil.

in both I used Live 8.1 with Max for Live for the sound processing
cheers,
Rui Gato
