What a load of bollocks! :D
First, mad props for the music you used to make. You certainly defined a unique sound back in the day. Good luck with your current stuff as the last handful of albums that I heard only made it through one listen... Perhaps living in Amsterdam has had its effect ...

john '00' fleming is a shite hardhouse dj. wouldn't trust anything endorsed by that shitehawk
I thought that john '00' fleming was the player of the most horrible "trance" music ever created, not hardhouse. perhaps he plays terrible "shite" in many genres. But if he says it's really cool then it ...

My mixes at digitalhermes.net
So I've wanted to digital dj ever since ever because I was never interested in buying giant expensive turntables and hauling around all kinds of trashy vinyl. I also never went with CDJs. I finally think I've found an answer in Live though there are a number of issues which need to be fixed or I'm ...

OK, after 6 months of use I STILL think that the bpm display needs decimal points, at least two.
I've probably stiched together around 200 tracks at this point and sometimes I have to slightly adjust the warp markers. A track is supposed to me 150, but for some reason it needs a little adjusting. I ...

Yeah, CTRL key SHIFT key, that's not what i'm talking about. What I mean is that like every other pro level digital media editor, Live NEEDS the ability to group clips and lock them together as a group. I've made about 10 digital mixes now using Live. The one I'm currently working on is 4 hours long ...

Clip Grouping!
Am I missing something here? Why can't I select a number of clips and lock them together for moving and editing without having to "consolidate" them. Nearly every audio or video editor that I've ever used has this functionality.
I've wasted so much time adjusting clip after clip individually when I ...

Auto RAM management
This occured to me when I was having trouble with the RAM button bug which has now been fixed (thanks guys!).
The RAM button works beautifully to speed up processing and GUI redraw for clips. This is really great, but what is not great is that as a user I have to bother to decided which clips are ...

OK, so perhaps I can fix a bouncing kick drum by adjusting the warp markers, I haven't tried. But frankly, I find it hard to believe that there will never be no artifacts added to tracks when using any mode besides repitch.
I've also decided that I happen to like the oldschool sound of repitching ...

Now that's what I'm talking about!!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys! Not only is the RAM problem fixed, but the the zooming GUI glitch seems to have been fixed as well! I only had a few minutes to test it out on my lunch, but I can assure you that that I'll give a full rip later on. I've got 4 mixes which need ...

I'm glad to see that someone is using Windows and doesn't have this problem. I'm using Windows XP Pro with SP2 and all the critical updates. I've tried every memory configuration I can think of and this happens every time. The fact that I'm not having any memory trouble with Photoshop, Soundforge ...

Broken RAM Button (Try this)
OK, I have found a way to consistently crash every version of 5 that I've tried including the 8 beta. Please try this and let me know us know if you have the same problem or not.

I already posted a thread about this problem titled "GUI performance decrease in Live 5.01 vs. 4.14 + RAM issues". This is definitely a big problem with Live 5.01. It makes beat matching two tracks for DJ mixes extremely frustrating, especially since it was not a problem in version 4.14. I tried ...
