I made a whole pack going into that direction which can be used to re-map automations. You are able to re-scale and change existing automations to other parameters and inc/dec existing automation values. This becomes handy if you have automations you want to adjust a little during live performances ...

If you want to a nice loop interface but record and be able to edit single layers afterwards the One Button Live Looper might be what you are looking for.
