Have you figured it out by now?
I have the same question. Esc seems to work but not necessarily on the plugin window that was last used. And more importantly, it makes a loud sound on MacOS, so it's not actually an option.

Re: EXS import and locating samples
Never mind I found the instructions for EXS format, the library assumes you install the files in a specific location. And since Sampler doesn't support standard round-robin mapping of the EXS format (afaik) I guess I'm better off using Kontakt for this anyway.

EXS import and locating samples
I have some Goldbaby kits in EXS format, from the Urban Cookbook library. As I understand it Live Sampler is able to import this format. When I open the EXS file Live asks me where to locate most of the samples, which is a real pain obviously. Is there a way to make Ableton search automatically in a ...

Re: Zipper noise when triggering something
I have cleaned out the tracks of my session and now its gone. It was there until i deleted one particular track which had a lot of recorded audio on it. Strange. Must be something to do with resources. I'm now back at 128 buffer size without problems. I will see if I can investigate further.

Re: Zipper noise when triggering something
I'm using a Fireface400 and its powered by adapter. I think it's more like cpu spikes. It doesn't happen with small projects. I guess the Live scheduling is a bit dodgy up. If the GUI triggers are messing up the audio scheduler that's f*cked up.

Zipper noise when triggering something
This is driving me nuts! Every time I hit a scene trigger or clip trigger or even the stop button, I get a digital zipper noise. This is on a fairly big project, but I have changed the audio buffer to 512 samples and I still have this issue. I need to go live with this thing in a 12 hours :(

Re: What's going on? Recording latency and track delay
@3dot I understand it makes sense in a way, especially for listening and when playing an instrument along with that. But the main confusion comes from the recording part. I didn't expect my audio to be recorded differently depending on the monitoring setting.

Good to hear that this is helpful to others
Makes me feel a little better about the time and frustration that went into this stupid thing.

Re: What's going on? Recording latency and track delay
Just for the record, I got an answer from an RME user. I already found that with input monitoring turned off I had no latency problems. I just didn't understand why I couldn't possibly record anything in sync with monitoring on. Turns out it is meant to work like that.

Re: What's going on? Recording latency and track delay
Support asked me to use the latest 9.03 beta and try again. This time it didn't record the audio 32ms late, but 32 early. I found a clue though. When I have the recording track monitoring input set to "auto" it will record early/late. When I set the input to "off" it records the audio exactly in ...

Re: What's going on? Recording latency and track delay
No fx, I'm testing only with one instrument track (drumrack), one return track (to send kick to outlet simultaneously) and one audio track to record the 2 together.

What's going on? Recording latency and track delay
I'm trying to record audio from an external device triggered via midi. How basic can you get. I can not seem to figure it out! At first I thought it was related to my hardware midi sequencer, which is synced via midi clock to Live. But I've now narrowed the problem down to just plain audio i/o and ...

Re: A nice way to combine voice tracks on an instrument
Ah you're right! I though that in blocked everything in the clips on that track but it doesn't. You can still use clip envelopes while passing midi input.
