Hi guys,

Currently running Ableton live 8 suite, mac 2.3ghz dual core mac osx 10.6.3, fireface uc interface. Sometimes when i record synth's i notice the recording seems off a little. Example when im recording and i got to the audio clip i see the beginging of the start point is not at the farthest ...

How do you guys name your files/samples? My main issue is when the samples are in different keys. I was thinking of something like e.g. AnalogOrgan_Aminor.wav . The tempo i dont care about as much because i can warp the samples to different BPM's.

Thanks im gonna play with it. When i look it up in the manual it doesnt say too much just that the mode can be switched between three setting.

So im using auto filter to cut unwanted frequencies eg kick and bass. I noticed when I say add a HP filter to my bass line and cut say anything below 100hz that it doesn't really affect the readings on the spectrum analyzer but i do notice a difference in sound. Why is this? I think it ...

The problem is you might spend your entire budget on trying to improve the room with little to no results. I would suggest as an alternative to invest in very good headphones that you can use in the meantime while you slowly renovate this room to spec. Just my 2c.

Anybody? Is there some sort of cache to delete? I just want to erase the list of previous filenames i have opened? Maybe its not possible? Help help help!!!!

In ableton when you go to File > Open Recent, there is a list of previous files ive worked on. How can I refresh or clear this list?

Just got the APC20. Connected the usb and power. Turned off computer. Restart. Load Ableton. The controller doesnt work, its not pre mapped but i can midi map the buttons myself then that particular button will work. I went to the options and midi sync tab and the apc40 comes up in the list of ...
