For my home use, I wan't to aggregate two soundcards of my PowerBook (PPC, G4) to one: the build in audio interface and a second 2 channel interface connected via USB (which i want to use for monitoring). I want to use my Live 5 Setup for a digital radtio station. Unfortunatly all of our Audiostuff is located to a network drive. Loading works fine (okay, slower than from a local drive) but Live 5 won't save the clips back to the network drive. It says "Can't save to CD, please copy the track to a ...

- You may choose any Font and size for display
- Free change of window size
- Optional transparent ...

...and of course: the basic transport controls and the jog-dial work with live, too.

This sounds interesting to me, because i only tried midi-yoke. I've looked for maple, but the sownload-server seems to be down. Is there an alternative download-option?

As far as I know itunes already does this? On a Mac you go to user/music/itunes/itunes music and in there should be your whole library, organized into folders based on artist and album I think...I have it set as one of my three locations in live, and can just drag songs right in.

does cubase take up as much space with its song file space as abelton

By default, yes. If you import a file into Cubase, it asks you to copy that file into the project-folder. If it is a compressed type, e.g. MP3, it asks you to convert this file, too.

Magix' Samplitude works without exeception ...

Maybe i don't get it, but i simply drag the files from iTunes directly to Live.

My complete collection is organized via iTunes, i have a large number of playlists and it works fine for me.

As i looked for a "Sample" database, i stuggled over AudioFinder, too. Unfortunatly, it is for Mac only
