I realise there are probably a lot of similar topics in relation to this one but I don't see any recent topics like this so Ill start a new one. Apologies.

Anyway,

I currently use an Dell Vostro 1700 with Ableton Suite 8 and while it has been trusty thus far, it is becoming a bit arthritic ...

id want piano sounds from a keyboard for live performances etc.


OK, piano. Anything else? Are you saying that you'd prefer traditional sounds?

Yes, there are a huge number on the market. But.........what type of sounds are you looking for?

If you mainly work with specific genres, please name them because then people can suggest a keyboard with suitable sounds onboard.

i had the same problem when i downloaded live from the site.

the thing that worked for me was uninstalling live and then reinstalling everything from the cd's. When i had that done i updated to the latest version and everything worked fine from then on.i wouldnt take it on unless you know what your ...

I use ableton 8 for live performances and i was wondering does anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced foot pedal to control live.
I don't need it for anything special just the essentials as ill have the tracks made beforehand.

the audio interface i currently have is the firewire solo interface and i also use my zoom g2.1 effects pedals which have a built in interface as well as patches specifically for recording, guitars i have are a strat and an epiphone sg,i also have an fender precision bass but ...

im new to ableton and having recorded material on the guitar, what is the best way to achieve a cd quality sound.im aware of the audio effects etc but if someone with experience of doing so could make some suggestions id be grateful.
