want all CCnum available to record/send envelopes in live6 ?

hallo, you may not know this, but apparently there is a midi standard, and within this standard certain CCnumbers are 'registered' or reserved for certain functions, certain functions which probably bare no relevance to you. and as such, live5 does not provide these numbers for recording your midi c...

i went from a 410 to a metric halo 2882+dsp, the difference was all I hoped it would be. the 410, when it decides to work, sucks the life out of the audio (but what do you expect eh?...). Of course alot of people are happy with it, but alot of people are happy with polaroids too. Aside from getting ...

wow, thats pretty kool....havent read the entire piece yet, or noticed its price, but I like it so far. I wouldnt get it in lieu of a musical controller, but it would make a pretty sweet 'typing' keyboard. Its like having a specialised keyboard for all your apps, like the colour coded ones they make...

check out wormhole. It introduces alot of lag, ruling out live use. But in the studio it means I can run Live on my mac, and wormhole sound over to the pc to make use of the vsts I've collected for the pc over the years.....you can audition the sound, and if you like it send the whole lot over, proc...

those who provide dsp, provide the plugs that operate on the dsp. there are some cards that are PURE dsp (ie, not soundcards too) such as tc electronic powercore, and UAD cards. There is a little overlap with these cards, ie I believe there might be a couple of plugins available to both..but dont ba...

dude.....the only people here who reduced the discussion to 'valid' instruments or 'invalid' ones , are the ones who took a simple and painfully true statement out of context from page 1, and willingly moulded it into another wishy-washy take-the-meaning-out-of-every-single-word-there-is-until-its-s...

automatic way to cut one long wav of hits into a bunch?

been sampling the bass drum of a jomox, ...long story short I'm making a wee vst/max patch with the samples, after doing the calculations I figure changing TUNE, DECAY, HARMONICS in increments of 5 (out of 127) and changing PITCH in increments of 10 will result in around 15 gigs of samples before be...

heh.....the only moot point is the one computo raised about our knowledge on max. It was completely irrelevant given the context. whether monome comes with max patches or apps created by max was what was of concern. you can know everything there is to know about max, and still be in the same positio...
