Not if you use Waves Plugs! Wacom tablet + second display = nothing but problems. And yes Wacom is aware of this issue. It's a flaw deep in their code that has been there for many years. :x I have both a Wacom tablet and the Magic trackpad. The Magic trackpad works on both displays with all plugins including Waves. I think it's well worth the investment, especially if you already used to the trackpad on your Macbook Pro. For the record, I have always been a mouse guy. I have never liked trackballs.

Finally got to spend some time with one at the Apple store again, I like it! Works pretty well, though it did feel a little more sluggish than the trackpad on my MBP. Seriously thinking of picking one up though.

You can change the settings to speed it up. It is much better once you have tweaked it.

Can the trackpad duplicate all the buttons & "chords" that the Kensington Expert Mouse trackball does? The Kensington offers: 6 buttons (4 buttons & 2 "chords").

Not sure what you mean by chords, but yeah, my extra 2 buttons mapped to expose and reveal desktop have now become 4 finger gestures. Horizontal scrolling takes the cake though, it's what sold me... and pinch to zoom in Logic is awesome. Live however, doesn't support that :(

edit: ahh, by "chords" do you mean pressing two buttons at once? I never used that feature.

Yes "chords" are the result of pressing two buttons at the same time. I have mine mapped to switch between vertical & horizontal scrolling, & launching Spotlight in OS X.

Glad you like it. It's tempting to me, I do like trackpads a lot, but have had bad experiences with bluetooth & my computer.
