Its not that hard .. Ive done it a few times although not for a few years Phpbb (this) is quite an easy one to migrate from, I went to VB .. which I probably shouldnt have in retrospect xenforo is where its at last time I checked , but its all paid stuff. I think, historically users have always created threads following announcements because they're sometimes faster than us![]()
That's probably why we got used to lock our posts.
But you're bringing a very valid question, and tbh I actually was a bit hesitant with the Extensions one, because there's the advantage that it's pinned...
