my old vintage roland is making strange noises, how to describe it.. it stops and starts but basically, it sounds like dusty+glitch+static kinda noise.
this expert guy told me to leave it on for a while to warm up, but it hasn't been cured yet. sitting down for ages.

vsti's get crazy when loading a long midi file, help--
this happened today and i am stuck.
i dragged some long midi files into the arrangement, and all the preset of the vsti goes random.
chose certain bass in the vsti, but when i hit play, the sound will randomly change to something else and stick with that. (other preset)

as i was working, suddenly my cpu got overloaded. went up over 100%.
didn't have any other applications open, i was just twicking operator i think. what's up with this??

so from tips of this forum (thanx), i added more ram to my G4 powerbook today. (i had problem with reaktor on Live..just being so-- slow)

looking for small portable/reliable midi controller for Live, without keys, just knobs and sliders. whats good? used edirol beofre, but was quite fragile. any suggestion?

i have been having problem with reaktor on Live, it just quits itself too frequently..it used to be alright before, but now i have more than one reaktor on the set, and started to happen like this. can anyone tell me why it happens? memory? or something else? i would like some advice pls.. thanks-

hi, wanna ask for mac users. i use Live on my G4 powerbook (512mb ram) but lately it's been really slow since i started using reaktor. so heavy.
i was told to get more ram but how much?? 1G or 2G? do they make big difference?
