I'm getting to know REASON step by step and am now learning about "effects" (solely in REASON).

Let's say for example, that I used a synth in REASON to create a funky bass line and (via re-wire), recorded it into LIVE.

My question is: how do I apply effects FROM REASON to the ...

Does anyone know if Live 7 might include pitch correction? I've been informed that other work stations already include such a beast. (ie. Logic/ Pro tools?).

Thanks for input...I'm talking about popularity/monetarily mostly. Also, I'm trying to somehow rule out those who are "singer/songwriters" and focus on just those who do "electronic" or a mix of audio and electronic like Bob Holroyd for example.

Hey everyone,

I recorded an audio loop into arrangment view and would like to bring down the volume just for beat one of each loop/measure.

If it were MIDI, I'd adjust the velocity, but it's not...

Q: Is it possible to make a volume adjustment (via envelope/or another way?) of just the first beat ...

Major confusion:

I recorded a friend's voice talking/singing w/ a CD recording in the arrangment view. When I listen to the finished recording in Live, everything is as it should be.

So I:

"Render to Disk"/selected the length of piece/"Normalize" is "on"/ "OK"

I'm about 80% done w/ a song... Suddenly, the record buttons on a bunch of tracks won't let me activate them for record. The tracks turned grey and when I click on the record buttons, they don't turn red. They just turn another color of grey.
