With Mountain Lion, Live loses RME UFX settings at every restart. Every time i fire up live it defaults on Mac's factory sound card. This never happened in Lion.
Is there a remedy ? Does live store this settings in a particular file ? If this file exists maybe it has wrong permissions ?

it works on snow leopard 10.6.1 and live 8.0.4 without problems.

under the master/slave tab you have "Seg.bpm" and 2 tabs labeled ": 2 and x2".i use these to tweak the tempo even it is slaved by the master clip.

1.load a rim stick sound in a sampler.
2.load a midi file from goldbaby and play that rim stick sound ...

recently i switched from vst's because i find handling of au presets in live much straitforward.just hit the save button and under your instruments'name in browser is your saved preset.no fxb's.

i saw recently apollo 440 live.what a nightmare.to replace the good sounding programmed drums with awful drum sounding live kit is a common mistake a lot of electronic bands do.
they simply cannot create that vibe with the drummer.the same goes with trentemoller except that he's doing also ...

Penryn 2.5 model has Texas Instruments Firewire Chipset
you can check this with windows installed under vmware or paralleles in control panel.
