My fix....

I used Impulse 'properly' the other day using up all 8 cells. I had a big crash cymbal that was being clipped. I realised that if I stretched the midi note for the cymbal all the way along till the next cymbal midi note, it stopped it from being clipped! :D

My track had 3 lanes of ...

I'd start by updating Live to the current version... 6.0.2 was a long time ago.

Sorry, typo (I corrected it now), I meant Ableton Live 6.0.10.

I'm on Vista 32bit, all patched up etc. and Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz, 2GB RAM, X-FI Extreme (sh!t) Music ...

When using Live and Battery 3 it's OK for a bit but at any time when actually using Battery ie. clicking on something, it hangs the WHOLE PC :cry: :x

Probably user error but I want to edit the volume envelope of an audio clip not by using the Pencil free-style but by two points of a vector eg. start and end point and the program draws a straight line in between.

How?

I eventually gave up with Ableton Live 6.0.5 with my Polar. It was great with just VSTs but now I've spent dosh on my 1st hardware synth I had all sorts of latency issues with MIDI then Audio then with MIDI >AND< Audio.

I erhum, acquired a copy of Cubase SX3 and in terms of latency, it was all ...

So, now I'm actually starting to use the synth with Ableton and using the VC with USB for MIDI and piping the 3 outs into my PC Delta 1010LT.

Noticed latency between Battery2 (or any VST) and what was coming in from the Outputs (I had to add an Audio chanel).

I changed the error compensation thing ...

I noticed that each new version installs into a new directory eg \6.0.3 then \6.0.5. This screws up my shortcuts. Then I un-install the old version (too save on disk space) and then all my .ALS files associations are gone.

What's the recommended procedure to install a new version of Live?

I had this sympton when I was mucking around in Preferences with the Remote/control serface & automation and stuff (I didn't know what I was doing).

When I turned it all off again, the CPU went back to normal.

It sounds like the VST won't initialise so I would ALT ReScan the VSTs first. If that wouldn't work I'd then re-install Battery2.

I bought a M-Audio Delta 1010LT and did as you said however, also routed 1/2 out to the Input of the Polar so now I can also route any audio into the Polar and use it's effects / filter etc. as well 8)

I've noticed that often when I've got a patch loaded with an arp the BPM light on the Polar will suddenly start flashing at a MUCH slower rate than it should and indeed, when I press a note the ...

- load up the VST with up to 16 patches of virus goodness and when I done with the tune

- manually output each channel to an audio track

- then add effects etc. to the audio tracks and then finally Render to Disk?

Just got an Access Virus TI POLAR and using it with USB only. It's a fantastic bit of kit but I got a query with eh audio channels.

I loaded the new TI Os v2 today as well.

When I load the VST up with a few patches I then want to add Audio channels an set them up with Audio In from the patch ...
