Keyboard zones on Ozonic

Dividing your keyboard up into zones is a handy way to, for example, play a bass instrument with the left side of the keyboard, and a different instrument like a Rhodes or whatever with the rest of the keyboard.

If you are using Ozonic, download the free "Enigma" software from M-Audio and it will ...

Need ideas for music for Sierra Leone Disabled People's site

My wife volunteers a lot of her time to help people with learning and developmental disabilities. Recently she started helping a group called "Global Network For Disabled People Sierra Leone Chapter G.N.D.P.SL", a group of people who have been disabled as a result of the civil war going on in Sierra ...

Loading EIC instruments is TOO SLOW, how to speed this up?

Hi All,

When I load different instruments from the EIC, the status bar on the bottom says something like "Loading samples, 20 of 600..." and has a blue progress bar that moves ever-so-slowly. Sometimes it takes much more than one minute to load an instrument sound. Then if I don't like that one and ...

Re: ...changing midi mapping

Click on the little white square at the front of the row, this will select every note on that row. Now click and hold on any note in the pattern and drag it up to where you want it, the rest of the notes will go with it.

Alternatively use a midi pitch effect to transpose the pattern.

Thanks ...

How to change MIDI drum assignments?

Hello,

I'm having some issuesgetting drums playing well n Live6 with MIDI files that others have given me, and I think I am missing something really simple. Can someone help?

If I place, for example, the kick drum part in a MIDI track, then drop in one of the drum kits (to give the MIDI some sound ...

Not sure if Live 6 currently takes advantage of multiple cores. But if you are running Live and, say, Reason, you could assign Live to run on core 0, and Reason to run on core 1. That way both programs can rock and not interfere with each other.

Re: Ozonic and MIDI assignment of joystick

Does it matter what your zone and bank selection buttons are set for? For example, I think A4 is optimized to work with Reason. Not sure if there is a particular combo for Ableton Live.

TIA, ganglion.

Re: Copying a group of notes to a specified location in midi

Maybe you have to insert a few tens of bars of tacit or some other blank space and then you can paste where you want? I have seen this kind of behavior in some other progs.

Hello All,

I'm not able to find a solution for the following action in the midiclip editor.

I want to copy a group ...

Re: Mapping little Joystick on M-Audio Ozonic

No man, haven't been able to figure out how to get Live to accept messages from the joystick (B18, B19, B20, B21) to anything in Live. And that is really irritating.

If anybody figures this out please enlighten us!

Thanks.
