The ability to alter multiple clip properties is a must, and to be honest it's ridiculous that it hasn't yet been implemented. I'm sick of having to go through drum clips one by one and change the tempo, warp mode, and fade state on each.

Definitely the most annoying feature ommision.

If you find Live won't allow you to alter the tempo of a loop, turning Warp off then on again (ie, double-click it) will then let you alter it - you'll have to re-enable looping though.

Absolutely - live really does need this. It gets tedious trying to change new clips to beat mode at 1/32, when you still want most clips to default to tone mode for instrument loops. It's difficult to think a feature like this has been overlooked. I'd make things much easier.

I'm curous about these little controllers too. They look great for Live, but I'm a bit concerned by their very compact size, and whether they'd be too fiddly in the heat of a live set. I'm curious about the button action too - whether they're spongy or have a definite click.

excuse my idiocy, but if replacing the internal C drive, does one have to back everything up and install the OS on the new internal drive, and then re-install all of the programs on the new drive... How quiet is it? Does it vibrate the laptop at all? I've been checking out the 7k60, but I can't find too much info about the actually aesthetics of the drive in use.

You could try placing Digital Fish Phones 'Normalizer' plugin infront of Karlette, then it will be fed with a very low level signal (eg say -190dB). As you can guess by the name it was written to combat denormalising, which caused CPU peaks with various plugins on the P4, or something.

I've already got the R40 now, which I'm very happy with, especially the build quality, screen, and keyboard. I thought anything larger would be too unweildy to lug about.
