but it's only in Live.
how can i make it into an .mp3 or something i can actually use it for?

I found a sample hit, "Square" that i would like to use as different notes.

How do you use a Battery 3 sample hit in Live? Ive never found the connection between Battery 3 & Live. Although I got them both in the same box.

I simply hit the 2nd string on my guitar too hard and a bit late (see 3rd measure).
I just want to know how to select that tiny section, and make it more silent.
And hopefully move it ahead a little.
Any help would be much appreciated, I've tried all day...

well, im having a pretty hard time trying to do that.
So i was thinking that I should just take out a 16th of it (or so).
How do I do that? It must be easy. I just need to know how to select an area of the track...
then I just press DEL, right?

I recorded a piece with my guitar and i was a little late on the 3rd measure.
How can I move the measure ahead with out warping the track?

When ever I warp it it sounds all wavy and sometimes distorted.

i am royaly pissssed right now.
i go in and out of musical thoughts. my songs come and go.
when i think if the song, i need to get it written down fast.

so i opened up Live 5 to record the beat/sounds i had in my head...
and I cant get them into the same impulse.
(I use an m-audio trigger finger ...

How can I put an individual bass/snare/ride into the Impulse, instead of switching every sound.

I guess what I meant by my first question was:
How can I make a custom Impulse?

I need a certain 'kick, snare, hat...' into one track because Im limited to 4 tracks with my Live Lite 5.2 M-Audio Edition.

Just a link to the tutorial would be helpful enough.

I was hoping to use ASIO as my Driver Type because I heard it was the best.
But then I can't get any sound from my Guitar with my M-Audio MobilePre.
But I do recieve input, just no sound.

So I think Im stuck with MME/DirectX because it is the only one that works with MobliePre.
Do I have to instal ...
