is there a way to access a device's parameters when the device inside a rack?

can ableton be set so when you launch ableton it opens a default set...basically i want to open a set automatically on launch...!!

yeah i know would be cool if something existed... so to control lights for example midi to dmx with an audio track!...

I need to control midi out from an audio track by inserting a sort of plugin that can talk to midi while controlling it from an envelope to sync up to an audio track...is there is such thing? if not it might be a good idea of such a plugin!!!

Is there a way to insert a rack onto a channel that the Device control do not see? this would be really helpful not to get confused live if there are loads of plugins on a channel...

is this possible?

I mean syncing ableton to an external hardisk either master or slave puts live iinto a state of panic. after i detach the hard disk and i take all the syncing away from the midi preference. the tempo which shows 120 infact plays somewhere in the region of 131...thats not just it when slaving ableton ...

I it normal that when a file is warped and saved in Live 7 and the same file is imported into a live 6 set the warping i completely wrong. Am i missing something?

My setup is a simple one when playing live there is a backing track running (not in arangment mode) and warped to the backing track on another track there is the click that i send out to the drummer.

Yesterday we've done an experiment to check whether the timing of the click syncs out ...

what happened to the audio routing ..its just not working..thank god did not delete the old version... is it just me doing anything wrong?

would be great if the slicing can be assigned to a midi cc and the midi notes could go to a pre defined midi channel instead of creating a new midi channel.

same prob here i thought it was a hdd issue, and coverted all wavs to mp3 so the workload on the hdd is to a minimum but still sometimes the audio drops out and come back in out of time

found out why,

I was not routing midi to the audio channel silly me .

maybe this can be of help to someone cause it took me 2 hours to find

Hello guys,

I came across a problem that I think I need your help with it.

I wanna do a vocoder on an Audio Channel (not midi) and I wanna play the vocoder keys live on a drumloop/vocal which is audio.

My problem is that the plugin loads ok and audio goes through with no problem but when it come ...

Would be nice that if you wish to loop with beat repeat, the song you're playing does not actually continue to play. So it is almost live looping but when the beatrepeat is turned off then the track continues from the point the beatrepeat was turned on.
