well, i'm not sure if it is an automap issue as I have remapped other things that are normally automap functions to work with regular old mapping while automap is on. Anyone else? There must be an answer to this, and it is probably pretty obvious.

PS - how do i turn off automap?

Would it be wiser to set up an EQ3 on a send rather than EQ3 on every track. Then of course midi the send function to all of the tracks to the send bus, and eq one or more tracks this way? It seems it would save a lot of CPU power and also free up a lot of dials for other effects n stuff. I guess ...

All that I see in the remote sl editor that resembles the volume of the sliders is a designated area for "High value" set at 127 and "Low Value" set at 0. Are these what I need to fiddle with? If so, how do I know what settings to use?
