Ok I will try updating. I just bought my used copy, I hope that its easy to update.

I use a Windows computer running Vista.

My version of Live is the Full version updated within the month.

So I just got Guru to use as my drum machine within Live. But I am having problems.

So I open Guru within live, create a beat using my mouse by using the XoX programming grid. Then I hit save, and load it back up and everything on the grid is empty. Thus, no beat.

awesome I have been having crackling problems with Live, its very strange, is this a common problem.

It gets worse the longer a program is open, and never goes away.

How was this resolved? I have the exact some problem. Or more specifically, it crashes when it tries to scan VSTs.

Also, this didn't answer the question of how to access the beta.

Btw I am running windows Vista.

I am new to this whole VST thing, but it is much more convenient to run VSTs in live than having a bunch of external synths on a rack. One thing I haven't figured out is how to do presets.

For some VSTs, all factory presets are handled via the GUI. However, if you find and dl any presets even ...

I am wanting to get my novation SL working with Ableton Live. The ultimate goal is to use it for automapping within ableton, but baby steps first. Sadly, I have owned it for a month, and even after printing out all the manuals, listening to the tutorial guide twice, I can't even get it to work ...

got the same prob too, not always but 1 out of 3 times it stays in taskmanager
and I'm unable to kill it , got to reboot in order to reopen Live again :wink:

I havent dug too deep into it yet but im dissapointed with its implementation with Live. Seems like there are lots of params that you cant access via the SL for sampler, operator ...
