and i've just discovered that there isn't a simple way
to slice a loop in single wav files without using drum racks.
This is what i want to do:
drag a loop in the session view,
slice it and import the 16 sliced files in the same track as single clips.

why don'y use both?
The live session view is a unique feature and i can't no more live without it.
But if i'll buy logic i would then export single tracks form live
and import them in logic 8, to mix the entire song.
I already own live and its plugins,
and adding logic could only be a benefit.

yes i mean to control the racks:
for example: i have an audio track with three effect racks, each one with 8 knobs mapped in the macro: can i select from the mackie the first rack and then see the 8 knobs mapped to mackie knobs? Then select (from the mackie) the second rack and see again its 8 ...

and i've noticed that some samples
respond wrongly to the velocity settings:
if i put it to maximum, the volume sound is very low.
