Getting Midi return messages to my BCR2000
When I set me BCR2000 up as a control surface, preset 1 has a whole lot of default mappings to Live controls. When these controls change within live (eg automation), the new values are received by my BCR, and the appropriate LED's change to reflect the new values. All according to the plan ...

Question: EQ hard cut
Hi there
I want to do some hard cuts with the EQ, particularly in the bass, and the Live 7 EQ8's rolloff is really too gentle. Been using the Waves REQ, but would prefer to use a native Ableton plugin if possible.
Anybody know an easy and EFFICIENT way???
I got a decent result with the EQ3, but ...

Keeping my session neat and tidy???
Have I missed something here?
I produce using Live, and inevitably my session view ends up littered with 30-60 tracks. I spend WAY to much time scrolling from L - R in my session view.
Cubase uses folder tracks to hierarchically contain and hide sub-tracks. Is there anything like that? If not, any ...

Could someone help with a simple test???
I am new to Live (using 6.10), been using Cubase for the last 3 years, so I'd like some help with a simple test regarding Live's "Render to disc" option. If some people could please do the following test and give me the results, I would be TRULY grateful:
1)Open a new, clean set

I'll try it
Thanks I'll try that.
I have tried your suggestion before, but I was using the "COMPLEX" setting, and even though the warped tempo was the same as the current, it messed up the sound on some of my tracks. Weird.
Cheers

How to scrub an unwarped track?
Is there a way of scrubbing through, or somehow moving though a track when WARP is not switched on? Really silly otherwise.
Thanks
Thanks

Extracting the beat
Hi Ross
The best that you will manage is to go through the song and find a section where there is (hopefully) only the beat playing without any vocals or other instruments. You only need one bar. Then you could take that bar, slice a couple of beats, and move them around a bit to make a variation ...

Major problems bouncing audio 6.09
Everytime I bounce audio, there is quality degradation. So frustrated! Could somebody please try my 3 tests below and tell me if it works for them??? Thanks

InternalrRecording BUG - 6.09
My setup seemed to be working fine, but I noticed a problem yesterday:
I was doing an internal recording, ie recording the audio output of a MIDI track (running a softsynth), into an audio track. When I played back the audio recording, it was altered, slightly warbled. The level seemed much the ...

Graphics for all tracks.
At present you can only see the currently selected track in the clip view at the bottom. This means that it is impossible to view both a track you are mixing out of and the one/s you are mixing into simultaneously. THIS WOULD BE AWESOME.
