i bought the audio 8 dj interface for traktor pro, but i'd like to start using it in my live set. i was wondering if anyone has found a way to cue tracks in live without using a mixer... i could use my mixer, but for portability concerns, i'd just like to try and figure something out without. thanx ...

im wondering if there is a way to set up live7 to quantize like the mpc? i know that u can quantize everything after the sequence is done, but as i remember the mpc would sort of "catch" a midi note on the 16th, 8th, when the pad was hit, which made for some really cool sequences...? anyon...

i bought an old soundblaster keyboard for 3 dollars at the goodwill bins. love it.
use it live. very small, but i have to have a midisport 2by2 and the 9volt powersupply. i even gave it a custom paintjob.
if it ever breaks i will go for this

i wouldnt put it the same way, because this is a really good upgrade, but i would say it like this- is it impossible? too much work(i.e u would have to completely recode live to do it)? are the cpu's these days not up to the task? i just have to wonder why i guess. maybe someone should write the abl...
