From what I've read over at Unicornation, there are quite a few people who have issues running the Ultralite in Windows. I've got mine hooked up to a pair of RP5's and it works fine, but it's on a Powerbook.

I've set mine up so MIDI channels 1-8 each corresponds to they're own row. The knobs control volume, panning, eq, etc. The buttons trigger mute, solo, record, stop, play, etc.

Channel 9 controls the master volume, cue volume, panning, etc.

Channels 10-16 are for various stuff.

I use the arrow ...

So far all I've used my ER-1 mkII for is sequencing AudioRealism's DrumMachine. Using the ER-1 for sequencing and a Bitstream Pro for the knobs, I've more or less got a 909, 808, 606, etc. Not exactly the same I know, but since I don't want to buy another 909 again for the little I'd use it it works ...

"It shows a clip on YOU TUBE so out of context"

How is that video being taken out of context? He admits to being a fraud. People's first response to criticism is to say it was taken out of context. What context could make him not look like a tool in that video?

Buy a Doepfer Pocket Electronics and make one yourself. Shouldn't be hard at all.

Better yet, use the Dial Electronics and have rotary encoders.

I upgraded from 6 to 7 just fine. I'm assuming you have registered your previous versions right? Ableton needs to know that you already have a previous version to know how to help you.

What I would do is get a Y cable. One of those red and black RCA to 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo (like a headphones plug). Hook the RCA ends up to outputs 1 and 2 and the 1/8" (3.5mm) plug into your speakers. If you want to use your onboard sound card for things like games, you may need to get a headphones ...

You can check off any and all input and output options. I have all 24 inputs selected as both individual and stereo pairs for my MOTU 24i. Once you do this you can record multiple tracks/sources at once. You should be able to monitor the signal as long as your speakers are hooked up to the outputs ...

OK, starting with the third image, checking off both options tells Live that it can use inputs 1 and 2 either seperatly or as a stereo pair. In Live when you select the inputs, if you choose 1/2 you can record a stereo signal in one row.

In the second picture, you should use ASIO as the driver type ...

FS: 3 Sound cards (Marian, M-Audio & Echo)

I'm selling 3 of my sound cards. I've got a Marian Marc8MIDI ($125), M-Audio Delta 1010LT ($110) and an Echo MiaMIDI ($95). You can find them here:

Sue the fuckers that did it, but see if you can get free food. :D

I just got a new card, activated it, used it for a few days and my number was already stolen. My bank caught the fraudulent charges before I did, so the cards been canceled and the charges reversed.

Re: Korg Electribe ER1

Apologies if this has been posted before, but does anyone have any idea how to sync a KORG Electribe ER1 to Live 6?

I've never had to configure a drum machine before, using a midi to USB convertor.

Any help appreciated

In Live, go into your preferences ( ctrl/cmd + , ), go the the MIDI ...
