I figured someone here in the Ableton forum could throw a couple suggestions way by now but that's not the case.
I wasn't able to figure out the Silent Way "trigger" plug-in but I was able to find a FREE alternative way to sync my Eurorack system to Ableton Live by downloading this pulse from Make ...

I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to setup a trigger/gate from Ableton Live to my Eurorack. I have an ES-3 and Silent Way(using the Trigger plug in). I don't understand how to set up this up in Ableton Live. Any help would be appreciated.

when i recorded a reason track onto ableton via rewire the recorded track sounded fine.
then the very net day that same track's quality level sounded horrible. it sounded like a low quality mp3 recording. what's up with that and how can i resolve this issue?

thank you all for your suggestions. I've still have 50+ gigs left on my macbook and my sequenced tracks are bounced to L-R, just to help clear things up.

For live shows I want use a midi controller...say an Axiom 25 to control synth software within Ableton. How much of a latency issue will i have? Is it best to use a real synth?

I have a Macbook Pro. I have 1gig of memory. Do I really need anymore than that??
