I have been djing on solely live for the past 3 years (12 years in the game otherwise) so I know live better than the back of my hand. I warp tracks perfectly in 30 seconds or so but I am angry with the new engine!
Is there a tutorial you could point me to that will help me how to learn the new warp ...

So im testing ableton 8 beta and for some reason when I launch a clip more than once (using my monome to send midi notes) the feedback turns off.
i.e.-
if you press a button to play a clip it's sync'd monome button lights up but then when you repress it, perhaps to launch that clip later in your set ...

Depends on what you plan on doing in live...
I have a 2.X2. MacBook Pro w/ Live 7 and the feedback when I am producing is not in real time (meters are a bit delayed at times)
Also when running certain VST's (Monochrome/Molar) Ableton will quit on me here and there.
I run a few pieces on midi ...

I have an EFX1000 and I want to record the effects on a DJ set I recorded today.
Is there anyway to have an Ableton set playing (arrangement view) while recording on a separate channel from the input of a M audio firewire 410 ?

Simply put:
I want to record out from my djm mixer in to Ableton ...

I just ordered a Pioneer EFX 1000 and I have a Firewire 410. I was wondering if it is possible to record the effects in real time in side of live?

I see there is a preset "external effect" in the effects rack but I have no experience with it.

Can any EFX users shed some light on this?

I bought a M-Audio firewire 410 and I have never had a problem with in on a 2/2/100 Macbook pro. I love it and I bought it 2 years ago and it's still going strong. I have played live with it at least 30 times.
8 line outs (4 stereo)
Midi I/O
Digital I/O
2 Pre amp 1/4 headphone outs....

So I recent upgraded from 6 to 7 and I noticed after I drop a warped file from the arrangement back to the file browser it now creates an audio sample file for it.
Does this mean that it is going to take up extra space on my computer?
Is there a solution to this? perhaps just deleting the OG track ...

I selected the loop and then went to edit-export audio/video

Each track is sent to 1/2 does when I hit play up top I hear everything but nothing when I try to finalize it
