Re: (OT): New service for Producers / Bands / Musicians

Isn't that what Cafe Press do? What's the difference? not knocking what you do, just curious. . Fair point. Cafepress is of course good, but where we differ is we focus only on music - so whereas with other sites your shirts will be next to stag and hen night t-shirts, and design like this which ha...

(OT): New service for Producers / Bands / Musicians

Hello all, First off apologies for the plug :) Haven't posted on the forum in a long while now - mainly because I've been working on other things, one of which is http://www.dizzyjam.com/ , a t-shirt website exclusively for the music industry. Here's the deal: You upload your logo to our site, we th...

@Ikay: OSX is not inherently more stable than XP. Where XP falls down is if you have tons of programs installed and you surf the net without anti-spyware/anti-virus software. Also badly written programs or hardware drivers can bring the system down. This is true for OSX too, its just in my experienc...

I do capoeira, don't have time to do it all the time though. Also if I find I'm putting a bit of weight I just eat less and I tend to lose it within a week. Eat less = Lose weight Eat more = Gain weight Should I make a video too ? +1 for capoeira, i need to be pushed when i exercise or i just give ...

Not sure if you already have done, but for the networking to work, you do need to Windows set up with an administrator password. It's normal to have one in OSX but Windows doesn't require one so lots of people don't bother.

huh Not a fan of Kanye and cannot see the awards thing as its been removed. I must say the Justice track blows big big chunks Crappy programming, mixing and terrible arr and no pocket at all to the groove. Reminds me of someones "first try" at a real track. Could not watch the whole video as the tr...

Do one thing at a time. Finish it. Don't even think of all the other stuff you have to do until you've finished the first one. Make the 1st thing you do the one you think will be the most difficult. I get stressed when I have 10 things to do in an hour, and so I start to work on 3 things at once, fi...

Hmmmm, i would drop a pre-prepared mix, but only if I'VE done it and perhaps it's not possible to do live - eg one record waaay quicker than the other or the keys are evil together without pitch correction. Kinda more of a bootleg/edit. Playing someone ELSE's mix? Not right. Unless you're not gettin...

Seriously. The HD 25s are great. Not cheap but they have a 2 year warranty. Not to be confused with the inferior HD 25 SP. They look a bit small, you think they can't be that amazing, but they are. When I DJ with them I can actually hear music in my ears, rather than a mush of sounds. http://www6.he...

Brian says he's using Photoshop, so he's using Rosetta. No wonder he doesnt feel it's quicker than the G4. Should have waited for the UB, Bri! What were you expecting? A kind of magic increase in performance? Sounds like it's put you under pressure. You must want it all...

Rule no.1 when DJing: Know your crowd. D'you think fatboy slim could have played the same type of set as hybrid and still kept all those people there? Maybe, but i doubt it. These are main-stage festival (NOT a dance festival either) watchers. Before i could beatmatch i couldn't care less about it. ...
