No mystery. But it still would be really flipping useful to be able to use a modifier/shortcut to initiate play from a point within a clip.

I also find it annoying.

But then I find Ableton transport in Arrangement the poorest part of the software.

Hi. Been looking for this but I can’t find anything that isn’t over £100 and it’s a really basic functionality that I’m after.

It used to work like this in Live 4 and beforehand.
Editing in arrange was so fast.

Making edit tweaks and listening with a run up is the only way to judge. And having to re-select a start point after every tweak has just put me off Ableton.
