When you use the apc40 for djing you often change between two channels.
But when the clips are on different scenes the track selection buttons highlights the track on the same scene as previously...
is there any way to make the highlight the playing clip on that channel. I'll try to make an example ...

Re: Live loop sample configuration using the APC
Wow, this is really cool. So through all clips and channels? Or just all clips in one channel? Dont have my apc40 at home right now so i cant test it myself.

Re: Live loop sample configuration using the APC
Hijacking the thread, but i've searched for "on the fly looping" for a while now and found nothing except mapping the set buttons on a clip. But i really don't see how that is helpfull since it will be for only one channel. Also shortening the loop by half seems to not work as good either. So what ...

APC40 slow faders
Hi, kind of a technical question. Will be asked at akai's forum aswell:
By using ut outside for Djing my akai APC40's faders (Volume and Cross-fader) are really slow. Suspecting there is dust in them.
I've opened it up to clean as much as i can, but how do i clean the faders? Can i put oil in them?

Re: MIDI Yoke beginner
Yes. So far i'm with you. But what next?
I feel like this step should be really easy and obvious which makes me draw the conclusion that something isn't correct with Midi Yoke.
How do you map something from DP to something in Ableton? I've tried Midi mapping and get nothing.

Re: MIDI Yoke beginner
OK so i think i get it. I kinda thought that midi Yoke and midi Ox were the same thing.
But Midi Yoke still doesn't seem to work.
I've tried with Maple VMC but that wouldn't even install and LoopBe. LoopBe kinda seems to work, because in reason i get somekind of response when pressing things in PD ...

Re: MIDI Yoke beginner
Oh... well as the thread name suggested i'm a total beginner on this. I thought having Midi Yoke involved having Midi Ox running.
So what i get from your comment is: the only two programs that should be running are PD and Ableton because Midi Yoke is sort of running passively in the background ...

First of, i'm sry if this has been posted. Searched for a long time now and haven't found anything.
Here's the deal. I want to control ableton with my iPod touch. So I get the app for the Ipod and Data pure on my computer. So far everything is good. Data Pure recognises every move on the ipod. But ...

Midi mapping question
Hello folks.
Can someone help me solve this problem.
I have an apc40, but i never use the nudge buttons.
What i would like to do is map those two buttons to the grid knob on a beat repeater, one to decrease it and one to increase it... More preferably i'd like them to jump 2 steps every time i ...

Dear Abletoners.

When I'm DJing i use mute and solo alot, infact i use solo way more than mute. Arm-record however i dont use at all.
