From my experience it is probably just as well that Sampletank doesn't load.
I run Sampletank 2 in Sonar 5 fine. When I first installed Live 5, ST2 was the only VSTi I had. Live crashed every ten minutes or so-all sorts of erratic behavior. When I got a new computer, I reinstalled Live but didn't ...

I can't work with Live 5 at the moment as a DAW.
Too many bugs
Too many crashes

I gave up on the betas for now

maybe they'll get it right soon

But I studied up on Sonar 5 and it is AWESOME!

I picked it up last week and it sounds great, is very intuitive, and comes with Perfect Space Convo ...

C'mon, man, quit it with the fake bad english. It's offensive.



anyway, aside from that, i agree with what he says. try cleaning up your vst folder as step one.

I just unlocked my 5.0.1 about a month ago.
I have continually had crashes(at least once per hour, never worked on a set without a crash!)

Tried the 5.0.3 upgrade and it seemed better for about an hour, and then WHAMMO!!! "A serious program error has antagonized you again" or some such message ...

Can't we all just get along?

I have had multiple, frequent crashes while using IK Sampletank, amplitube, T racks plugs. On 5.0.1, 5.0.3 & 5.2b4

I have sent in support requests.

IK Multimedia has a new "CSR" Classic Studio Reverb plug. It is excellent as is all IK stuff IMHO.

All analog modeled, warm, ultra tweakable.

GUI works like classic hardware.

It would be nice to be able to have more than one mix in the arrangement view too. Any way around that?

Right now I am personally disappointed.

Impulse rocks, Amplitube rocks, Cleveland...... I have never perceived that Cleveland rocks.
