Re: New Macbook Pro's: Solid State or 7200 RPM Hard Drive?

merci for the informative reaction davepermen. Since I need more than 250GB for my library & my budget is not that flexible for SSD's, I think I will go with 7200rpm for now. I hope they could perform better than my 4 year old internal 100GB 7200rpm HD under heavy sessions or perform same as my laci...

Re: New Macbook Pro's: Solid State or 7200 RPM Hard Drive?

So are there any certain facts about 7200 rpm HDD vs SSD's? There are so many confusions around that subject. After using my 1st gen. CoreDuo MBP for more than 4 years I'm still undecided which HD option I should pick as a long term (5 years) investment for MBP i7's. I mean do I still need external ...

Would someone who bought it just check this and report as I couldn't find any info on the net, thanks.

darthstephen: i'm sorry about your case, obviously it is a slightly special one. As i understand the situation, initially there was only an AAS crossgrade offer available when ordering single instruments. You and others complained about this and Sara promised a special 10% discount for the suite in...

Re: Does Ableton respond to email?

i called them. they refuse to discount the suite upgrade price for owners of the aas modeling collection. so, they are essentially offering no discount to these customers who have already dropped 500 plus dollars with aas. i'm skipping the suite (hopefully not missing out too much on drum machines)...

I just talked with customer service. If I wanna upgrade to the Live Suite there is only % 10 discount. So it means almost nothing if you have AAS products and wanna upgrade to Live Suite. In other words it also means if you are buying Live Suite, the package discount is same as AAS crossgrade option...
