Re: Apple silicon
I’ve been an iPad user since day one, and I love them. For the past year or more, iPad chips have been benchmarking on par with MacBook Pros, and even beating them in some graphics intensive tests. Now how that translates to audio performance is a different thing, but I think the potential is there....

Re: Apple silicon
The iPad Pro was going head to head with MBP 13” in benchmarks two years ago. The issue with pro audio apps on iPad isn’t power. It’s getting developers behind it. If you dig into all the WWDC info, you’ll see that Apple is making it easy to develop and deploy apps across all their platforms (MacOS ...

Any update on this? I have no idea how to do it myself. By the time one is available I'll probably have my Push2...

Re: Looper live session with foot controller setup
Thanks so much for your response! That is so disappointing. It would be so powerful if you could do this. I think I'll get an FCB1010, and set banks 1-8 to control the tracks individually, and then set bank 9 to start/stop all the loopers for arrangement purposes. I guess that's the best I'll get fo...

Re: Controlling many loopers with the same pedal?
Good idea. I had actually thought of that last night. I know that one of the settings of my Axiom49 allows the knobs to control whichever track instrument/plugin has focus, by being on a certain midi channel. Maybe that would work too...

BUMP
I am wondering the exact same thing. Please tell me you can do this... if not... how crippling!

Looper live session with foot controller setup
Sorry if this has been asked before but I searched and I don't want to spend all night reading the forum... My live session is going to be fairly simple. 8 tracks, each with a Looper on it. Is there any way to set a midi foot controller to: Pedal 1: Current track's Looper multifunction button Pedal ...

"Retrospective Record" feature
I had this cool idea. What if you were jamming with another friend, and his gear was piped into your live setup for real-time sampling... and he starts doing something really cool... Sure you can hit record to catch it, but you missed the beginning of the part. What if you could enable "retrosp...

I agree
This would be great. Also, a simple 'Beat Detect' plugin like the one in Logic that measures the BPM and displays it. But auto beat-detect/sync would rule

Okay so I want to know this...
What exactly is your problem with Tibetans, Bounce?
I reject your characterization and I would like to know what your agenda is.

Wow
So I really don't want to jump too deep into this argument because, honestly, the original post seems deliberately inflammatory and convoluted. Also, my problem with the original post is that it points fingers at everybody, which only escalates such problems. I second what chrysalis just said. I fin...

One very exasperated bump.
I just came back to Live (actually making music in general) after a big hiatus. Man I went to tweak one of my tracks and no groove quantize? Sheesh...

My 2 cents - Logic's time stretch sucks?
My favorite point about Logic is its library. They really give you a huge palette of great sounds and that is incredible. The next best point is its plugins, especially Space Designer. Ableton Live is my tool of choice for its workflow. I am just far more productive in Live's session view, it flawle...
