If I simply copy my older User Library to the same location on the new Mac, will everything link up, function and display in the Ableton Library as expected?
Yes!

Re: Live 10 (and 11) CPU Usage

There's no real CPU difference. I'm on a 2009 mac pro and things didn't get worse from L9 to L11.

Re: Serious problem with saved state of parameters

When this happens:
- delete e.g Convolution Reverb,
- and then undo the delete action...
Does CR come back with the expected values or the wrong ones?

I’ve had the bug a few times quite recently and I did not collect and save.
But is it possible that you've been using a copy of e.g Convolution Reverb rather than the original one?

Re: Live 11 Beta testing

I'm sure you can imgaine that it wouldn't be manageable to let 10.000 people access to beta testing in one run.
So yep, you'll have to wait a bit more, but you'll get there don't worry ;-)

Re: Serious problem with saved state of parameters

Do you collect and save? In this case a copy of the devices is made and those copies are used within your project. That could maybe explain a bit why the values are changed in all sets versions?
Could be some live.object that don't use the persistent mapping option?

Did you bought Live Intro or Standard after a one month demo of the full version?

Re: Recording a Key Change/Transpose using Push 2?

There's no direct way to transpose all your notes from Push. You can add a Scale and/or Pitch midi device from Push though and autimate it so it's only active for one clip. In L11 you can have a different key/scale per clip (and the pads on Push follow accordingly) but still no quick transpose, plus...

Re: Is there any way to change the adsr envelope of a guitar track?

Yeah, a volume pedal, or volume automation on the recording is the way to go. I've tried patching M4L devices, and many stuff with compressors, envelopers and so on to get a somewhat automatic guitar volume shaper, but there's just no solution to adapt to the dynamics of a guitar satisfyingly. A vol...
