I was wondering if there is anyway to trigger a wav file from an audio track? As an example, let's say I recorded a band with a full drum kit. I would like the kick drum track from the drum kit to trigger a hand-clap every time the kick drum plays.

When I render to disk, it's not in stereo. When I listen to playbak in Live it sounds fine (in stereo). What am I missing? How do I get Live to create a *.wav file in stereo?

I have 6 audio tracks all recorded in mono. Using Live 6 on XP.

Thanks for responding. I am recording and instrument.
I removed the mono preferences thinking it would record stereo from one input (duh). All I did was put back the mono input on the preferences page and now when I select 1 or 2 for input the meter shows both L and R.

Time to get back ...
