is it possible to use Logic 7's instruments in one of Live's MIDI instruments like Impulse?

When I have Live scan for VSTs/Plugins, no Logic instruments come up...is this because Logic's instruments are not plugins or VSTs?

hailing from Weho, near the corner of Hollywood and Fairfax. just moved here from wisconsin. I DJ w/ live, mostly prog/breaks/trance/psy, but have recently been trying to incorporate some upper temp hip-hop and rock into my sets.

i use a novation remote as my mixer, assigning knobs and faders etc ...

i see no benefits of logic as master, live as slave. for me live IS the interface. if i cant use it, what good is it?!

for those of you experienced in rewiring with Logic... I've been reading that its impossible to have Ableton as MASTER and Logic as SLAVE

nevermind, dumb question. b/c if the same slider controlled the cue and master mix, i wouldn't hear the cue when i have the master volume down. duh

now...how come one cannot manipulate the cue volume in headphone? when cueing, the track's volume turns blue, and while I can turn the master volume up and down, the cue volume stays the same. what's the deal?

so i just received my echo indigo dj sound card, and when I plug it in, my Apple G4 OS X 10.4.1 freezes. fine. so i go to the echo website and download the newest driver (v 1.3, from 2003) and apparently this version only supports OS X 10.2.
