Re: Justice DANCE Live Version
Fom your description and from what I remember Justice spinning live during their show almost 10 years ago, it was the MSTRKRFT remix of D.A.N.C.E.. That version has those long synth pulls, duuuuuuuuuuuuuuun,du,da,dun,da,duunnnnnnn, with the lfo/amp fx flourish at the end. I think that's what you're ...

Re: Audio output thru computer speakers and audio interface
You might be able to route this up using Soundflower bed if you're on OS X. I'm not at my computer so I can't try but if the other suggestion doesn't work I would recommend checking it out. It's useful for a lot of other stuff as well. Especially sampling.

Re: Extending a reverse crash
Try changing your warp mode from 'Beats' to 'Re-Pitch' or 'Complex Pro'

Re: Help recreating this kind of synth! (Nosaj Thing)
Try this as a starting point:
Analog or Operator (operator will probably be a bit smoother, like theirs), with a Sine or Sine + Tri (super mellow tri, not saw, and mixed in beneath the sine), get that ADSR set pretty close, then start to work on that slow warble he's using. The warble can be ...

Re: how do i delete a bit off the start of a sample in session
Oh, my mistake, I was still thinking in arrangement view. In session view, after you 'set 1.1.1 here', just right click 'crop sample'. That will cut out everything not in the range you have set to play and you can set that range from as zoomed in as you like.

Re: No Answer in Answers. I need to write a '/' in session view
Can you just copy/paste from a track title in arrangement view into whatever you need to edit in session view?

Re: how do i delete a bit off the start of a sample in session
In session view, zoom to where you want the sample to start, hit CTRL+E or Command+E to make a cut, do the same for the end, then select the clip title bar and hit CTRL+J or Command+J to consolidate it into a new cut.

Re: Help this Moron organize his Live folders
I'm pretty sure the option you're looking for is File > 'Collect All and Save'. Check yes to all and you should have everything you need saved to that path.

Re: Ensoniq ESQ-1 Help!
I booted it up this morning to get my patches off and try a reset, and was reading online when the screen blinked a couple of times and they displayed only the word "intq" at the far top left of the display. I let it sit for a while like that and after a few minutes it switched to just "int". I can ...

Re: Ensoniq ESQ-1 Help!
Yeah, I've tried a standard cable, short patch cable, and headphones on both inputs. Nothing seems to help. I just opened it up and had a look inside hoping to see something blatantly out of place. Unfortunately/Fortunately it's one of the cleanest keyboards I've ever seen inside and out.

Re: Ensoniq ESQ-1 Help!
I've only ever sent MIDI to the ESQ-1 a couple of times. It was always from an instance of External Instrument in Live, so I could sequence out a part and then capture the audio from the ESQ-1. I just looked through the MIDI settings on the ESQ-1 and noticed that under "MODE=", where I should be ...
