I'm looking for a USB/Firewire audio interface that could provide multiple I/O which are purely internal to the computer. I don't need lots external cables or patching here. What, if anything is out there which could offer me this?
Or should I just patch a 2nd Interface OUT to the first interfaces ...

Re: Midi USB Cables
The cheaper ones work ok, but you sometimes struggle to get drivers for newer OS like win7 or 64 bit support, take that into account, you know if you buy a recognised brand that your won't spend hours trawling for supported drivers

Just invested in a pair of Audio-Technica headphones, I must admit to loving them, they're way better than my old Sennheisers

Re: MPD32 Note Repeat help.
Are these issues always when using host USB host connectivity? I Wonder what the outcome would be if midi DIN interface IN/OUT were used? I have a new MPD26 and noticed the issue too, I'll try with my USB Midi interface and ditch the direct USB cable and see what happens.

Re: delay from midi controller to sound....?
check your soundcard drivers, make sure they are ASIO?
If you need it use this, for low latency
http://www.asio4all.com/
Also. set the latency compensation in the Audio settings

Re: bouncing audio, tips?
drop looper on an audio track and set it to record from master, that way you can record anything from any track incl realtime tweaks etc. A diff way of bouncing and freezing etc

bounce it all down to one Audio track, then hit the *2 button on that audio track in the clip view

Re: Ableton Live sounds lackluster (for my purpose)
layer your instruments, copy them and pan them Left, Right and Centre(ish) etc etc, then add diff FX and delays to them, bounce them down to a single track?
just gotta be creative
otherwise just get NEXUS VSTi which has enormous, moving pads

just highlight, then drag and drop (or copy and paste) the loop from the arrangement view to the clip view?
