And thanks for the "One finger double tap drag-lock with trackpad - easy! ", I was always using 3 fingers, wasting so much energy

I have Live 8.2 running on my macbook air 11' and did not face any particular issue.

Check if your system is up to date. I used to have the same problem with the plugins of a vendor, when I contacted them, they suggested to check if there were any update available for my MacOsX.

I had not updated my system for a while and when I did, it fixed all the stability issues.

even the ERGO correction software would not work at times cuz it would have trouble calibrating the room. IMHO don't buy that box for your interface. KRK is a speaker/monitor company

I am also under Mac OS X and it has always worked like a charm (I calibrated it maybe 3 times)

Strange, I have a macBook 13' (not pro) bought in 2010, connected to an external dell 20' screen (dual screen) and live 8 is running fine on it.

mac book pro have a better video card than macbook, it should not be a problem.
Did you try to reduce the resolution to see if the performance improves ...

I just want to share my experience with the tech support from GForce. I contacted them through their website on Saturday because, after install, I could not see Minimonsta in my plugin list even if I could see the files in the folders \Library\Audio\Plug-ins
> (VST & Component)

Well, they replied 5 ...

With Record you get audio inputs to Reason and you could use a tool like SoundFlower to send audio from Live to Record.
But it makes your whole set really messy as each time you want to open it, you would have to launch/configure 3 tools (Ableton + Record + SoundFlower). But hey, if you are ready ...
