searching thru i cannot find any difinitive answer to this question. i am on a mac and would like to know if the majority of you mac users are doing ok with mp3's in live 5.2 or are you still converting your mp3's into wav's?

if anyone knows where a vst version of the electrix eq killer is i'd love to check it.

i cannot seem to get the ableton flanger to to make the typical jet takeoff whoosh sound. i want to put it on some cymbal crashes etc. i don't have very much experience with effects but i have worked on this for hours! i seem to get closer to that sound using the chorus but it's still not perfect ...

i am finding that i need to lower my gain quite a bit on most of my tracks. (to be absolutely clear... i need to keep the peaks below the line at the top of the meter, right?) all my music is ripped from vinyl into peak. and then straight into live. so i hope i'm not screwing ...

should i be adjusting the gain (for maximum gain) in the sample box when setting warp markers etc. and save the gain settings in the asd. file, in order to try to keep all my clips at the same level?

yes! thanks, (i thought i tried that!?) and on a mac the function key gives a faster movement.

i travel/fly a lot and i am always stuck somewhere where pulling out a controller just is not practical. does anyone know if it is possible to assign faders and knobs to the computer keyboard? traktor has a system worked out where you assign increase and decrease each to a separate computer key ...

subfunk, is there a trick to get turntablist to work? i'm on a mac, so no problem there... maybe i'm not smart enough to install it!? i can see it in my browser but it ableton won't let me drag it into a channel.

does anyone know if the beeping tone of lives metronome can be replaced with a sound similar to the clicking sound that you get on an mpc?

if you are on a mac install the au version and try that. that's what i'm doing. i know that kontakt works better in ableton when you us the au version as opposd to the vst.
