Hi,

I have an issue with the rendering in ableton live (7).
when I want to rendered a radio show I've recorded (about 3h30 long) , I get this message from live :

"The selected time range is too long to be rendered into a single file. 2163 MB would be requiered for each rendered audio file, and ...

Did you try mapping one CC from your controller to all of the track faders? You might have to play with the takeover mode to get it to work correctly

donot see anything interesting in this use of live

to do that, I make a make a new utility preset, for expl -3db (depending), and then drag n drop it on every single track..
a bit boring but pretty fast and working

there is a lesson in the help menu that deals on how to find the correct value

you can add a follow action to multiple clips; select them (your scene)and then add an action

kore 1 hardware is a pretty good "affaire" as it has a nice soundcard built-in; which has been take out on the new version of the controller...

the resolution upgrade (1 920 x 1 200 ) on the 17" may be nice...

thank sqoop for all those precious infos. As you said, xp pro should be the right solution for the moment. As this machine as to work nice immediatly, I can't really experiment.

I am getting this fat fat mac very soon (3g, 4go ram) . So I believe we can make this little test :wink:

for info, the automation shows up on a track when you click on a parameter (dry/wet, rate...); it's a clever and easy way to select the automation you want to edit instead of going thru the automation menu.

I've recetly tryed pianoteq.
sound AMAZING
and most of all, it's using only synthesis (no samples at all), which means also saving a lot of disk space..

I've been looking to the midi guitare think some times ago. I went for the axon and I am very happy with it. I've tried before the roland which works pretty well but is not as pro and complete as the axon.
the iguitar solution looks sexy, but it seems to use the same technology that roland does ...

it might be that controller Ritchie has dvlped to control Live, video, and lightning (!)
